Kat & Crypto is a personal pitch project exploring the themes of regret, individualism vs collectivism, and second chances.
Kat, a lonely electronic whiz, chooses to self-isolate after the death of his friend, Clancy. Living in regret, Kat believes he is to blame for the accident that caused Clancy’s death. After intercepting an intergalactic mayday signal, his life is turned upside down when he makes friends with a stranded alien that he names Crypto. Things get exciting and dangerous when Kat and Crypto find themselves in the middle of a standoff between a global protection agency for interplanetary asylum seekers, the Brigade, and a covert paramilitary organization, Arm of Iron.
